Lawton Ladao was born on 13th October 1982 in Tambongon, Lasang, Davao City. He majored in (BSIE) Drafting at Bulacan State University in 1999 before taking a two-year MAE-Practical Arts in 2006 at Bulacan State University. He specializes in contemporary neo-realism, focusing on subjects of Philippine culture and social norms.
He participated in exhibitions at posh hotels, malls and for foundations, charity projects and environmental conservation. He was also a participant in a Christmas exhibition in the House of Representatives in Batasan Compound, Quezon City, Philippines. In 2011, he was a part of Philippine delegation sent to Luxembourg for “FILIPINISM: What Makes Art Filipino” exhibit.
Currently, he is a drawing instructor at high schools and state universities in Bulacan.
